Was not offered admission into UW's PhD in English program. This makes moving to Seattle considerably more complicated.
I'm betting on things being okay eventually, though. Me and the pan of brownies will make it through.

now you'll have to spend a year re-applying and also looking for the perfect high-school teaching position for me so that I can join all the cool people on the west coast? that's sucky though... but, on the plus side, brownies sound awesome.
